Woodpeckers are by far my favorite birds, out of the possible 200 species to be found in the world I have seen 50.That is all about to change, as I shall soon be heading for South America again, Guyana to be exact and then onto Seattle in the USA on the western sea board and then inland to Colorado.
In Guyana there is a potential 16 species and in the USA I stand to get up to 10 new species.
I can't wait and that's not including all the other birds to had.
